Step 1: Start with a Discovery Call
Every family is different, and so is every session. We’ll begin with a quick call to chat about your family and find the collection that fits your season of life best—whether it’s a 3-hour afternoon or a full year of storytelling.
Step 2: Reserve Your Session
To book, a non-refundable retainer of $400 secures your spot on my calendar. This retainer goes toward the collection you choose and includes planning support, my time and expertise during your session, and professional editing of your images.
Step 3: Choose Your Collection
From short stories to epic documentaries, choose from four storytelling collections:
– 3 Hour Session
– 6 Hour Session
– Full Day in the Life
– Year in the Life
Collections range from $1650–$5500 and include:
✔ All of your digital images
✔ A personalized album featuring your story
✔ Print credit to use toward wall art or other printed keepsakes
**Step 4: Make It Yours**
Your story is one-of-a-kind, and your artwork should be too. You'll have the option to customize your collection with additional products.

This wasn’t a typical “stand and smile” session. Desi beautifully captured the little moments that make up our life—the quiet ones, the messy ones, the ones filled with love and laughter.
I thought it might feel stressful or like I had to be “on” all day, but it wasn’t that at all. It was natural, easy, and honestly, a gift to just be in the moments instead of trying to document them myself.

Desi is an amazing photographer, but more than that, she is a beautiful human who was absolute pleasure to work with. She hung out with my family, paying attention to each child and capturing their individualities. She took some of the best photos of me with my husband (it's usually either me taking photos of my husband with kids, or him taking photos of me with kids, so photos of us together as well as all of us together as a family are so rare, and so appreciated). The entire gallery tells a story of our life during this season and every time I look through these photos, I can't help but get emotional.
